On July 12th, 1983, computer scientist Eric Kinser founded a therapeutic technology company called “Group G.C.,” dedicated to the study of analog and digital experiments with human psychology. Using several methods of electromagnetic NDT tests and neuroimaging, different possibilities were discovered that allowed for the subverting of a patient’s senses.
Known as the P.C.T., the technology was able to effectively transfer an active stream of consciousness into curated videotapes constructed by Group G.C. These practices were strictly guided by the contents of these tapes, believed to influence certain parts of a patient’s psychology.
At the height of Group G.C.’s popularity among therapy patients, an updated method of testing was created for group sessions. During a regularly scheduled program, an electrical malfunction resulted in a patient casualty. The division was promptly shut down in October 1999. During the investigation process, Kinser evaded law enforcement officials and was declared missing. It is rumored that some of the technology founded by the company is still operating among criminals today.
